Elevate your photography portfolio with an intensive, curated 10-day creative immersion in Tokyo, Japan. The Tokyo Photography Retreat 2027 combines high-production fashion lighting setups, avant-garde night concepts, and cinematic street photography across Tokyo’s most iconic backdrops.
Work directly with two established UK models flown in for the event alongside hand-selected local Tokyo talent. With strictly limited spots, you gain dedicated 1-on-1 shooting time, personalized feedback, and hands-on lighting guidance without fighting a crowd.
Confirmed Productions & Curated Shoots
Production 1: High-Fashion Studio Lighting Day
A full-day controlled studio session in Tokyo with high-end lighting equipment, creative styling, and direct individual shooting time with all models.
Production 2: Curated Street Editorial with Sony Ambassador Sam Nash
Master environmental portraiture and motion blur techniques led by official Sony Ambassador Sam Nash. Locations include Nakano Sun Mall, Nakano Broadway retro corridors, Shibuya Crossing, and lantern-lit yokocho alleyways.
Production 3: Exclusive Evening Body Tape Art Session
An avant-garde evening shoot featuring custom body tape styling by a world-renowned tape artist, set against an atmospheric too be announced location
Location Excursions & Cultural Shoots:
Explore the traditional vs. modern aesthetic at Hama-rikyu Gardens, historic temples, and optional travel excursions (including an optional Geisha shoot in Kyoto).
